Our meetings start at 7:30 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month at Moon River Brewing Co downstairs.  The typical meeting includes a short discussion on official club business followed by a talk on a beer style or technical topic of interest to members.  John Pinkerton, brewmaster at Moon River, provides “Pink Notes” most meetings with discussion on a variety of beer related subjects and/or happenings at Moon River.  The “beer style of the month” talk will coincide with the tapping of a special beer for the meeting that’s available for purchase each month.  This is a good way to try different styles along with learning the history of the beer, intricacies of the style and ways to brew it yourself.  Casual discussions on a variety of topics go on from beginning to end (meaning we have a good time getting together and talk doesn’t have to just be about beer).  Most folks have dinner and a brew from Moon River while in attendance at the meeting.  Come down and try out a meeting.

Unfortunately, homebrews or commercial beers from outside the restaurant are not allowed to be brought into Moon River.  For those who brew and would like some feedback on their beers, we will hold “beer swaps” on a monthly basis at a group brew day at an off-site location (called a Stammtisch).  Bring some to swap with others to these off-site meetings.

Check the Forum for our next meeting agenda.  If you have something you want brought up, post it on the Forum or email an officer.
